Old house 1930 build I have a dining room on floor boards no problem in to a new extension concrete dry concrete with eufh that I'm installing. The issue is the utility and hallway which is original floor bitumen with quarry tiles. Damp meter Is showing damp through the tiles so I've suggested digging up floor to install a DPM sheet or jumpax it with sheet. Floor is also not level by 2 inch side to side so needs levelling out worst case with na.

Sorry only part of my thread seems to have gone through. I was going to say can I use added 1 c as it states it can be used with no physical DPM in place ! Also have Mflor LVT going down.

Can you not put a new sand and cement screed in?

this is what I've suggested daz but builder has said it could cause more complications. So client is happy to have a step down but need to sort the damp issue.
