Hi all, just wondering what you all think of Karndean Looselay and if you've had any trouble with it?

 

Do not buy it. Laid onto a decent concrete floor. Won't stay down. Been told it should have been screeded lol. Will cost you more money in the long run.

 

Hi Ern, done a few but they are awful. Need a really smooth surface and Karndean now say they have to be tackified. AVOID

 

Did it once had problems avoid it of you can unless you are sticking it

 

Ive turned down 2 jobs installing this due to the bad reports about it!

 

Fitted a few now, no problems with it but it's not 'designable' enough for me. I prefer to create individual looks with glue down lvt.

 

Thanks all for your replies, not too keen on it myself now after having a few jobs from when it first came out and not glued down complaining about it curling. Fit it with tackifier now.

 

Only heard bad things. Wouldn't fit it. Once you work out the cost of the whole job, not much difference to have a design floor fitted.

 

I've only done one job not had any come backs . Bathroom tackified the whole floor . Bit pointless imo might aswell sell dry back
