Honestly, it works really well. Doesn't cost much more than spray which tends to not always work. Only use a thin bit on the sides and it grabs straight away.
I was going to use contact spray cans , but the last lot I bought think was an Evo stick brand was sh@@ not used it on carpet tiles before tho f3 to messy and contact adhesive to fiddly and smelly ! f46 strong enough on the risers ?
Yeah and spray is going to kill you and I find it just doesn't hold sometimes, and f60 and f3 is complete overkill. I wouldn't of thought f46 was strong enough but I've never used it. No mess using flex either.
Plenty of spray glue, on the riser and the back of the tile. The nosing keeps them in place. ...thats only when ive ran out of grabfast or some nob forgot to clean the end of my spray lance! or F3 in wet.
Think my prefer method would be contact spray , anyone know if a good one ? i don't really want to f3 it !
In my experience they fall fall off with normal spray when just the riser has been sprayed but when we did it we made sure there was plenty on the riser and plenty on the tile. Waste of money in my opinion but they provided the spray and havnt had any issues 9months on. Think if I remember rightly we had 36 cans on 7 flights of 12 steps 2 1/2 tiles wide. Grabfast is a lot quicker and sticks like foooook.
That's what I'm saying read post 11 contact spray should .....be stronger , but some of the brands are sh@@
Yes I know and read what you are sayng, what im saying is using normal spray does work but has to have ****e loads put on BOTH riser and carpet tile. You didnt say anything other than they used spray and they fell off. Im not to know how or what they sprayed by reading 'post 11'
I think fitting something like a tile you would have to spray both tiles and riser otherwise can't imagine it would stick at all
