    Hi guys
Got a xl job coming up and it will be polished beyond belief. I was going to try rolling f44 have not attempted this before and wondered if any of you had and the best practice for it e.g priming, notch

I've done loads trying different notches and techniques in the past yet still you can see the trowel marks when polished.

Not to Keen on 46 for xl and am coming from a fball world from the last 16 years so weary of other adhesives though have been reading many good things of mapie eco fix so would this be the go if rolling

I'd use a2 notch like I would for 46 can't see why I'd change for a bigger notch, if your getting glue lines your going in slightly too late we've all done it especially if it's a large area your gluing out.

F46 rolled...you can't beat it! I find eco fix a bit of a nightmare if you get it on the floor or in the joins. The stuffs impossible to clean off!

    Thanks
I've even tried going in straight away rolling like hell. Still when I went back you could see the trowel marks on a worn vinyl notch. You could also see yourself to a degree. I suppose if its polished that much it will always show the notch had no complaints just really annoying for me thats why i thought I would try rolling do you let it turn when you do it

I'm new to rolling Addy have seen in here that people step up a notch when doing it though when I did with 46 it didn't seem any different to a a2 notch

I started off using the cheap 12 inch ones from screwfix which were medium pile bit it kept shedding fluff. Got a decent short haired one now can only find the foam ones in mini roller size. It would take a while using one of them

Do not know one other Floorlayer who rolls their Addy so any advice tips is much appreciated.

The foam rollers are really good, and worth a go. I use them for everything except dpm.
You can also get the roller holders from the shop, which keep the roller wet, and ready to use again. Also worth a go

Really...I only ever used them for Dpm and primer. I found them an absolute nightmare for tackifier! Haven't tried roller 46 with them. I always use the medium pile roller for 46

I will order one now I've got 2 boxes of camero left from a job so will redo my conservatory in them and play around a bit with foam and medium pile rolling of 46 will try a bit in 48 as well to see if what I've read on here about 46 being OK to use instead if ht.
Might try a bit in 44 as well.

XL is a right head doer regardless, hate the stuff especialy if its panther black

Only time I use a medium pile is for tacky, rest is foam all the way. Got this weird fetish for the sound it makes when rolling

A2 notch, 2 man job, 1 roll whilst 1 spreads, get the fucka laid in and roll it like your an apprentice again...both ways. Thats as much as you can do really.
