I have a set of 5 itools , used them once to de-nib screed is that what you mean? they are yellow in colour

Let me get the base in to check it fits the itool plate, then the segments can be added as required.

 

thats the ones im on about, how much would it be to get the plate and a set of the yellow segments? thinking it might be better longterm investment to go that way then keep using the silicon carbide type ones that wear out quickly

how many metres do you reckon youd get before having to change the segments over? on the yeloow segments that is, id imagine its got to be a fair few

 

just de-nibbing a few thousand I reckon

 

They must be used on a slow speed machine though and it's got to be dry

 

Take it will be fine for the menzer machine same one as cr8tive has that he bought from you, wouldnt de nib semi wet screed as it would just clog what ever it was you were using

Well the segment base fits.

 

My segments should be with me in a couple of weeks.
Grit 16 rather than grit 20 for that little extra grunt...
