hi all, new to the forum and looking for a general consensus as to what is the norm to do with the joints of sit in skirting, external, internal and the every 2m vertical ones. Are all joints cold welded? I am doing my first job in sit in skirting so not sure what the norm is. At the moment I'm keeping all joints as tight as possible. All externals flush. The worst part about this skirting is the colour, it's a really light grey. Any hints or tips would be very much appreciated cheers
Even on a light gray colour? Gradus don't recommend to hot weld them nor supply a colour weld for it. If you weld them, do you clean it down with the exactos?. I think this would be near on impossible with this colour because if you touched either side of the skirting with the exacto you would see it because of it being such a light colour?
I've only ever done black ones mate so couldn't comment on the light grey ones but cants see any reason why you couldn't weld them if you had a weld close enough to the shade of grey to use, yeh use xactos and abit of solvent sometimes
Heat it up and wrap it around externals , is it the 100mm with half moon lip or the square skirting normaly used in hospitals for lino
