design strips

    Hi everyone done project floor couple of years ago lounge hall toilet kitchen with a 3mm design strip then 25mm strip and another 3mm customer rang me to see if I could change the colour of the 3mm ones never done or been asked this before any ideas on this getting glue in would be a problem I think cheers chazza.

    Mitre bond would probably work.
    Levels could be an issue, if the old ones pull up the latex ?

    Slow time consuming job, but easily achievable, with plenty of patience..

    It's won't be ha ha if you have to take all the outside tiles out if you can't get the strips back in Hope it's not wet set :eek:

    Heat and pure patience, dont get to cocky and start seeing how fast you can go when pulling them out as long as it aint expoxy your on to a winner ;)

    Must be something in the air....im going back to a big hallway lvt job i did in the summer to put a border in :confused: was telling them to have the border numerous times when I put the stuff down. Not looking forward to this and god knows how ive been talked into it.
    Plus side is ive charged a whole heap of cash for it and they still went for it.

    no not wet set don't want to take outside strips out but might have to if they wont go back in still I can charge day rate and do it in January :D
