does anyone trade on ebay ,i dont mean just sell the odd second hand item i mean trade ,carpets flooring fitting etc as a business, does it work ,any problems, best way to go about it .
Tried a fitting, type ad thing, with link to my site etc. Only got a few calls from it, and all over the country. Also wanted to pay next to nothing !
I tried an add on Gumtree, but as said above everyone wants you to work for nothing. I've had a few jobs off it but turned more away than I took. Because round here there are a lot of "fitters" that will work for pennies
Thing with ebay and gumtree is predominantly its people looking for second hand deals or trying to buy older stock at cheaper prices, I dont know about anyone else but if im on ebay/gumtree looking for something its because I want something cheap and dont mind it being preowned, not because im looking for a quality service, if im after a quality service id google it, so you better focusing your efforts on the best seo you can afford imho.
I advertise my supply and fitting services on eBay and have done for years. Has worked well for me especially during the recession. Cheap source of advertising
I am power seller on Ebay and have years of experience on Ebay. This customers are scanning for best deals. There is no chance to find normal customers. If some one call you this is mean he is looking for cheap job for a rent house or something similar. Just find different site to offer your trade. Example: Yell.com
