Lightweight 110v transformer.

Anybody using or used one of these before, do they still perform well enough to warrant buying one? Looks like they may be handy sometimes.

Don't see the point really. A standard transformer isn't that heavy and is half the price.
And it's not powerful enough to run a welding gun so I'd still need my normal one anyway.

Maybe I'm getting lazier in my old age.

 

Get a 1.5kva one only 11kg so a bag of rapid weight wise and can run pretty much anything, I use my grinder/sander with it and runs fine

 

I have the 3 and 5kva ones. Just getting saw one and wondered if it's worth it tbh.
