My exakt gets very hot when cutting just ply for a bathroom , blades get changed and hoover attached its a ec320, whats a good replacement ? is the purple pro version a lot better or is there some thing else out there, 6mm ply is what I use it for mainly, I did buy this used worx saw used it twice and then sold it on ebay, piece of s*** http://www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk/worxsaw-400w-easy-plunge-saw-304923 Could it be my exakt on its way out as it was fine when I first bought it a few years ago ?
Mine does that too. Gets really hot. Swear it's gonna catch fire one day. I know they do a bigger version, not sure if it has the same problem Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes I have seen that one , I was meaning the smaller purple (professional) one with the slightly bigger motor
The bosch 10.8 v cordless looks the part, anyone using this, be interesting to know, found an old thread think jambo has one. Any input much appreciated
Came today , got a ply and vinyl tomorrow , so will get tested, first impressions look good Quite a diddy thing which is what I was hoping and looks like "professional" tool , if you know what u mean lol Bosch GKS 10.8 V-LI Professional Cordless Circular Saw 10.8 V (includes 2 x 2.0 Ah Lithium Ion Batteries) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00J8LANWM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_ii2rxb4VFSB79
did a job yesterday, im pretty pleased with it, as nimble as the exakt but you dont feel like you could cut your arm off at any given moment wasnt doing a bathroom but tried cutting a curve on a spare bit of ply and worked a treat ( exakt struggled with that) the blade area is very open so you can see exactly see where the cutting starts and stops. I did use the guide that comes with it to cut some straight cuts although i think I will invest in the bosch guide too. I was only cutting 6mm so dont know how it will cope with thicker wood, but will use it on next laminate job. Overall I would definitely recommend
I bought an exact a few years back but just not man enough for the job. Got so hot I couldn't hold it after a few minutes. Last year i bought a Parkside one at lidl for about £30. Bigger and much more robust, adjustable depth upto about 25mm. Excellent bit of kit, not sure where I'd buy blades from though! Sent from my Galaxy S6
