Hi all, Yesterday, a builder and a kitchen fitter installed an Amtico Click floor into our old kitchen area and an extension of that kitchen area. Having examined it a little more closely this morning I can see several small gaps between the tiles (see representative photo's). The kitchen fitter returned this morning on another project and I drew some of them to his attention. He stated that he had noticed them but that the floor was installed as best as he could and perhaps there was a problem with the tiles. I have emailed Amtico technical for their comments. Whilst I await those comments, I would be grateful for any comments or observations from the experts on this forum. Thank you for your help. Sue Sidal.
If the tiles won't kick together once installed then it needs lifting back to the affected tiles, with them being replaced if they won't go together properly. It's a shame that the issue wasn't addressed at the time as it would've been a lot easier to sort then. It always annoys me when builders and chippies think they're floorlayers! Sent from my Galaxy S6
