Anyone know if the Numatic 1515 sander/buffer is any good? £684 +vat including dust skirt and extraction system so seems good value. Also if after sales support is decent/ easy to get spares for? I'll be using it for finishing sanding and buffing/oiling, possibly for grinding too in future if it's capable of this? Cheers
I think there a light weight which is slow you down on the prep. I am using STR and it is very good powerful sander. I think you can find used one for similar price, but it is power and quality! www.services.profflooring.co.uk
Yeah that's the one I was looking at but went for a menzer in the end. Still getting the hang of it, been thrown against the wall a few times Main problem is getting the sanding discs to stick to the pad, think I've sussed it though with double sided tape
I don't think the tape will work. You need dust and the tape is finish. You need weight for the sanding disc to stays. www.services.profflooring.co.uk
I am sugesting to put some weight on the top. I am not sure what kind of sander is it. My STR is heavy, but i am having additional weight of 15kg, but the motor of STR is 2 bhp powerful. If he shows some pictures will be helpful. www.services.profflooring.co.uk www.profflooring.co.uk
I have the 1515. Yes it is light but you can get horseshoe shaped 10kg weights to add to it. I use 1 or 2 if needed Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
If the motor is strong enough is fine. By the way I am looking for skirt for my Str. I am looking for used one. Www.services.profflooring.co.uk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Got it sorted with extra weight, plus I was using wrong drive disc to start with which didn't help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
