....talk to me chaps, why should I have a guillotine?
How is it quicker with border work as some say?

Obviously a neater cut into the border but is there a real big benefit from having one?

Depends on which one you get, I've got the magnum shear and I use it for laminates more than lvt.
They are good for the strips and point to point cuts on tiles, but I wouldn't be without it for laminates speeds up the process and dust free

I'm after one but purely for doing strips with, if I remember rightly Matt has said in the past they are only really useful for doing strips and 45 border, so if you do a lot of border work it will be handy, for me I just want it for strips so watching eBay for a 12inch used one at the moment

strips and designs like making motifs . Cant remember last time i used one on a standard border job. Think i brought one maybe 20 years ago and used only because i was trying to convince myself it was good due to how much i spent on it. However , as above, strips yes.
