Laminate over ceramics?

Can anybody tell me if you can put laminate over ceramics? If so is there any do's or dont's?

Make sure they are flat and well bonded.
Also check it has a damp proof membrane under the tiles.

I am agree with Dazlight and can add, timbermate xl underlay or serenity underwood and tape it on the joint. There is different laying on the underlays too.
