Got an engineered floor to put down next week (glue-down), concrete sub-floor that is below 65% RH but was planning putting down a DPM as a precaution anyway. Just wondering if many people add sand to the DPM to improve adhesion, or if this doesn't make any difference? Haven't bothered with previous ones but the boards I'm fitting are about 1900mm long x 190 wide so need a good bond. Was planning using Sika Rapid DPM or similar. Cheers

As long as it's primed and you use a decent adhesive it will be fine. I've stuck 300 wide solid oak direct to epoxy resin and it's been good for the last 2 years

Now I use Rewmar ms polymer but I use to use Mapie p990 1k. Good stuff but had to stop using it as had to buy it from cfs and they were too unreliable.

If you use Rewmar MS then you should use their Rapid RP. It is a PU that is rollered on and doesn't need sharp sand cast into it to key. It's much better priced than Sika Rapd DPM and it can be used as a DPM up to 94% RH

Cheers guys, haven't used rewmar products before but might give them a go. Seem good value and sounds like they're decent? Not sure I can get them local though but will look around

Managed to find it at local supplier, works out about £7/m2 for dpm & adhesive compared to £11ish for Sikabond
