Hi all, I have ordered lots of Karndean Van Gogh samples, still not sure which one to go for, please could you recommend some good for open plan kitchen? Thanks
Any Buy what you like Just make sure your get it installed properly by compatent fitter Thats the important bit
That's true, are those fitters on mybuilder.com any good, I had a bad experience with ratedpeople.com, not sure those fitter online are any good.
Lol No mate The clue is in the title !!! people on those type of sites are on there to get work coz they can't generate there own work through reputation imo Here is a good place to start ! Where abouts are you some one on here may be close If not we could maybe point you in the right direction
Also, I had a few quotes from different fitters, some of them said I will need to latex the floor first, some of them said I only need to level the grout joint and prime, no need to latex, can I ask which one is better? My current floor is polished tiles, please photo attached. Thanks
Basically yeah or smoothing compound You either get water based or latex based. Primer is what goes down before the screed to help is bond and flow ofrom the screed.
Van Gogh is very durable.., in my opinion, one of the better ranges.. If you drag the fridge across a floor, it will scratch.., but general foot traffic is fine.
If some fitters have said just fill the grout lines., steer clear of them..., as they appear clueless. As long as tiles are secure.., they'll need a degrease, prime and latex.. (After floor moisture levels have been tested)
