hi , anyone having problems with QAs soundclick underlay for lvt lock systems.
had to go back to a few where the underlay is puckering badly under the lvt causing mounds to show as tho its being heated up and shrinking and puckering like plastic would.
happened on different subfloors in different places.

That looks like a product defect to me an my guess is they don't understand what has happened so don't want to know and are just burying their heads in the sand and hoping you will go away. They should at least make a site visit to see if something onsite has caused the problem. If, as they say, it isn't their fault ask them exactly who's fault it is and ask them to explain exactly why it isn't. If they understand their product and how it should perform then they will be able to tell you.

Don't take it lying down, force the issue and maybe consider taking some independent advice with a view to taking them on in court.

    Hi Oddbod, Andy,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

It goes without saying that we always do everything within our power to ensure customer satisfaction.

In the unlikely event of a complaint regarding the installation of our products we have a process to follow. This process includes a site visit.

Please email sales(at)qalooringsolutions.com with details of when and where we can meet you on site to take a look at the job and resolve the issue.

    Andrew

    Oddbod,
Looks like you have finally got heir attention. It's certainly a step in the right direction, and it will be interesting to see what comes out of the site visit. Especially as you've had the same issue on four different sites. Common denominator? The product.

I wonder why you weren't told about this complaint process when you first raised the issue. Could it be that it's cost you around £2k and it was easier to simply tell you it wasn't their fault and have you go away?
