ok got a job I have to be seen to price as its kind of via family, subfloor is an utter mishmash in a kitchen family room, I have 25% up one end old floor boards which will be screwed down properly into joists by builder (bro in laws oldman) then up the other end I have an extension concrete slab done in 2 bits with about 20 years between each half covering 50% of floor, it does have a membrane 100% but half only down for 2 weeks at 60mm depth, problem bit is the middle 25% which is quarry tiles direct to slab no membrane! and which are all over the place too.

Suggested ripping up the quarry and rescreed the area, not an option as the kitchen is half in, so need to work with what I have got, if I do the job I'm pricing it to do it to my spec and I don't care what the cost is as long as it doesn't pop, end of the day its getting done right not cheap.

My only thoughts so far are to use 1200/na to level off the quarrys so I don't have dips in it and then do what ever is else necessary to level it off front to back of the whole area and then jumpax the lot, skirts are off arches will be undercut and moduleo on top any other suggestions or is that essentially the only option I have? cheers

not so bad on either side of the quarry tiles they are my headache, once they have been levelled/smoothed off in the middle section its not to bad to be honest its not going to be a 100% level floor as in like a hospital surgery floor but it will be smooth from one end to the other with maybe a very gradual downward slope from one end of room to the other

    Ok your laughing then.
Like you said smooth out the quarry tiles
Then dpm over everything bar the wood obviously. 9mm ply over the floor boards but span the ply over the transition about a foot and glue that bit to the dpm. Screed up to the ply feather the seam. Wack the lvt down.
