I use Uzin 888 and Ardex feather finish.
All depends on what I'm going over and if there is direct sunlight.

Ardex. Mapei do one called planiprep. Uses it but seems to take a little longer to dry. Used 888 too and that wasn't too bad

    Mapei planiprep is awful
888s is the way forward PS fitters will like it as it doesn't peal off coz it's not clay like Ardex

My local supplier has got some uzin products on order as a test run ,
I was going to order some 888 ,
Could you please tell me if it's suitable for direct sunlight / underfloor heating ?
I couldn't see anything mentioned on the data sheet regarding this thanks paul

Also which of their screeds is the fball 700 equivalent and is the working time the same as the 700? Thanks

Uzin 888 is fine for direct sunlight so I've been told by them but not sure if it's on data sheet.
148 is the fibre screed I've used. Good gear but not cheap.

Yes 888 can be used in conservatorys and on hfh (apparently) but go for the 888 S its faster drying

148 is the uzin budget fibre reinforced compound There is another but cant remember the number

Nothing is like 700 really Not as flexible anyway. Far to expensive and it gets little dimples in it when it dries so needs feathered which adds even more to the cost.

You can add your own fibres to any compound
