I use lidls multi tool for undercutting doorframes etc at 29.99 a go it's throw away and they do take the hammering, blades are reasonable too, I have got a crain door jam cutter for linings etc.
I use a fien multimaster or somtimes just dont bother and cut lvt around the architraves for the frisk
I'm on price mostly, so nearly always undercut, it was different when I was young you was taught to cut around everything, but there wasn't so many lvt then just amtico.
Get multitool blades off eBay you can get 50 for fifty quid much better price than screwfix etc, I use a fein multimaster quick release I'd sooner pay out for a good tool then keep on paying out for cheap ones i burn out once every couple of months but each to their own
50 for 50, that's good deal I'll check it out, iv also got a crain door jam cutter that fully adjustable height and depth, that don't hang about but use it mainly when laying wood and the like, but I was surprised at the quality of the parkside multi tool, 3mtr lead and quick release and little light at front, been going strong now for 18 months paid for itself so I can't complain, also made in Germany.
If you wana be a big boy floor layer get a propper coil nailer on a compressor .... If you wana fagot around with little kids staples up Aldi/lidl on a 4mm ply job go and play with the rest of the kids up the park. Cheers Sent from my F3311 using Tapatalk
Nah I wouldn't have one of the parkside compressors neither, there are plenty of good choices on the market, there was a time many years ago when guys hammered ring shanks in with a hammer, well the boys did, you got fast and good at not hitting your fingers lol.
