What glue we all using for gluing engineered wood down. Any tips ? Not done one yet as only floated it. Is it best to have some trade wines Incase glue gets ontop of the wood? On tapatalk HD
I've just started using Bona R848. Cheaper than most and really good grab. V4 woods good ms plus is pretty decent too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Rewmar MS Polymer. Can be used with solid & engineered wood and it's well priced too. They also do some great wipes.
I second this had loads of issues with other adhesives but the Rewmar is brilliant, also like the sound of the name "Get the Rewmar lad"
Well the salesman in me, will ask: 1.) What are you gluing it to as a subfloor? wood or concrete. 2.) What is the moisture content of the subfloor? Then we can go from there. I'd hate to recommend and specify something without knowing those two aspects. elevated moisture or lack of too much moisture, are wood's enemies.
Most wood floor installers will have already got the answers and will know how to proceed. The adhesive supplier will have a Technical Data Sheet that should contain the environmental parameters for use. Question 1 should also include power floated & anhiyrite screeds. This is where a good adhesives technical support team come into play, and Rewmar's is excellent.
