Hello everyone. I am a homeowner looking for someone to fit around 90 m2 of engineered oak (220mm wide boards, glue down, over concrete with newly installed wet underfloor heating). I am suddenly facing a rapidly approaching deadline of the first week of December to have this done. How did that creep up on me?!... Can anyone help or recommend a fitter? I am in south west London. Thank you.
There are countless flooring contractors these days, so I doubt that you won’t find a good one anytime soon. I was in the same situation a couple of months ago, but in my case, it was a commercial wooden flooring that I needed. Thankfully, a friend of mine recommended this commercial flooring London based contractor. Why not ask some of your friends or relatives regarding this matter? They might have some great suggestions.
I'm sure you mean well but this, your response, sounds more like Dear Deirde from the Sun. You are correct thought there are countless flooring contractors around and quite apart from the fact that the fitting deadline has already past, all the good wood floor ones are busy right up through Xmas and have been for some time. This contractor, who I'm sure are excellent, is not London based. They are in Dorset! Please read the question, and then if you have a suitable response let's hear it. If you are advertising for the job, just say so, and good luck.
