F3 down over the Karndean then relay yeah cause that will be cheaper

Anyway in conclusion ..after another heated argument on the phone I insisted that he come round and discuss/ repair.

This he did , but was an absolute nightmare with him just really coming round to argue with me . After ten mins or so of the nonsense and him accusing me of being responsible for the lump in the floor by not preparing , being basically obnoxious and then saying he would take me to court for the money ...I lost me shit a bit , told him to get his gear together and f*ck off. Not my finest hour but you can only put up with so much.
I actually had hold of his arm and was trying to get him out the door when he said '' if I leave I won't get paid !''
I said , exactly ...to which he replied what do you want me to do?...

I explained ..AGAIN!..that he needed to lift a dozen or so planks , grind down hard board area over hump , re latex prep and reply new spare ( by the way, the hardboard wasn't laid past the hump , but actually joined on it )
He wasn't a happy bunny , but did as I said and it's turned out excellent and I paid him straight away by BACS .

So all very avoidable and frustrating but sorted in the end . He was a capable person , but just rushed this job, didn't prep right and chanced his arm he'd get away with it with a younger couple.....which he didn't !

Thanks very much for the advice and input from you guys on here , much appreciated and gave me a bit of info with which to argue my case.
