    Good afternoon

Well I signed up to gauge your opinion on the LG Hausys Decotile 30. I can't find much information on this flooring.

We plan to put this across the whole of our downstairs space. It seems quite a bit more affordable than Karndean and Amtico (around £800 cheaper) I believe the Karndean is Knight Tile and the Amtico is Spacia (both seem to be average for scratching and wear and tear).

The company fitting this are highly recommended here in Solihull (FLR Flooring) Please note they also sell PolyFlor, is this worth consideration too?

Please forgive my lack of knowledge on lvt flooring and would welcome your expertise and opinion.

    Thanks

    Rob

:(....thats how I describe LG lvt (wheres the dog sh*t emoji)
Its a lot cheaper because its nasty, just being honest. I took them out my sample collection couple yr ago.

Quality of it is hit or miss.....mostly miss.
Have you looked at the Polyflor camaro range? Sierra??

Save up some more and go with a better quality Lvt.

Thank you guys, I appreciate the feedback.

I now want to steer clear of LG DecoTile but my wife is swayed by the price :(

Polyflor Camero looks very good and reviews well, nice in grey too and FLR sell it. Is this around the same price as LG normally or more in the range of Karndeam Knight Tile? They don't sell Earthwerks or Luvanto from what I can see.

Yes AngryAndy - FLR seem very professional and lay the floors correctly. They are screeing the whole bottom floor of the house. We have friends that have used them and the finished product looks excellent.

Sounds like the deal is done then if your mrs is swayed by the price, doesnt she want a floor that will last and at least look like it's still in the same place a year down the line? Not to mention delamination. I know shops that have stopped selling it but you never know you might be one of the lucky few.

Camaro is a bit more £m2 but not as much as knight tile < which is my least favourite of the karndean range but hell of alot better than LG.

    Luvanto
    Earthwerks
    Project floors medium range
    Vusta
    Moduleo transform
    Distinctive Italian Label

All above commercial LVT and similar price to Karndean knight tile and will last longer.

It's the LG DecoTile 55 not the 30, does this make any difference? 5.5mm top wear surface but still poor quality?

I have enquired about costings for all of the following and it comes out like this in comparison to LG DecoTile 55

    Polyflor Camaro - £212 more
Karndean Knight Tile - £400 more
Karndean Van Gogh - £961 more
    Amtico Spacia - £845 more

    What would you go for?

I'm seriously considering PolyFlor ( although I must be honest I have never heard of it before!!)

    Thanks for your help guys.

If your on a budget go for Polyflor it’s decent stuff.

Polyflor International are uk based and have been manufacturing floor coverings since 1934

    LG make TVs

Out of them 4 only then I'd be goimg with van gogh, karndean must have their A-team running the VG machine as I find it their best range, my customers love it.

Polyflor brought out a range called 'sierra' that's pretty decent for the price.

LG could have an inch wear layer and it would still be shit.
