Will likely go with Polyflor Camaro if I find a pattern I like. Van Gogh is too expensive and I'm guessing Sierra costs more? 4k is my max

When you guys talk about lvt are you talking from a durability point of view or fitting?

And Sierra does seem good for the price especially the herringbone.

Both for me Dan . Any plank that isn’t good to fit I don’t bother with. Some of the cheap end don’t butt up unless you undercut them which is a pain in the bum.

But you want a plank that can take a bit of wear and tear.

Yeah like Daz says bit of both, if it didn't bother me id be dishing out the likes like LG adore colonia but you can't always have your way, customers paying at the end of the day but Ive stopped fitting LG for one shop so they get somebody else, I do all their polyflor, karndean the odd amtico here and there.

Went back last year to a bungalow I fitted 3 yrs previous the amtico to hallway through to kitchen and camaro in all bedrooms and the amtico still looked brandnew but camaro was looking bit tired already whether or not them keeping on top of the rooms but it just seems to be amtico still justifying they're price tag and still remaining at the top to most.

Last LG I done was a post office about 11 months ago with the claimed commercial wear layer but it looks battered already, even colonia thinner wear layer holds up better. I know its a busy place but really does look worn in the main isles already, looks like it's been down alot longer.

Hope this sierra lives up to polyflors name because I've sold stacks of it. That parquet is nice when it's down, does actually look alot more than what you would expect, impressed so far

Ok, a question, does people think polyflor lvt is made here by polyflor or by someone else in China ?

I did think Polyfloor made it them selfs. I assume you know otherwise.

I'm under the assumption that sierra is exclusive to only few main suppliers made by polyflor for them...but yeah China's finest!

Distinctive is the uk brand, yes half the collection is mflor but currently as sole supplier within the uk, we decide to brand it under our uk brand rather than mflor’s worldwide brand as distinctive is more known in the uk etc, mflor have made a lot of lvt for others in the past.....we have a new factory as distinctive and Im certain new ranges are on the horizon now we have backing by Victoria group
We are just more honest about our options than others.

I used near 450m2 of it on a refit for a shop last year and was nice to fit. Can't remember the exact one but all fitted together nicely.
