Prep floor thats half timber half concrete

    I’ve heard F3 will stick anything. I just wouldn’t fancy it unless the floor was flat as a pancake and you got decent fixings in it. Spaceys done loads of those subfloors with 2 layers of ply if I remember so I’m not saying it wouldn’t work. Just voicing my opinion. As I do on here lol.

    How about sack plying the concrete

    Ply kitchen area with 12mm then 9mm take it to 21mm LVT will cover the rest so over 22mm

    Build up concrete area with CL with chipping at 15mm then 6mm CL without over that

    Happy days no worries about plying concrete
    Just span the kitchen ply slightly over the concrete to prevent cracking Feather the seam

    Nice bit of thick old lumpy f3 under that 18 on the concrete won't be going anywhere . Try getting that up a week later ... Won't have to do so many pain in ass drill plug fixings either . Skim it off with flexy on the top .. nice quick top prep job in about 4 hours if u pull your finger out !!!

    I'll access once ripped up me thinks. Could go the CL route with chippings which I usually do. Whichever is quicker for my labourer....charges me £40 a day the thief :D

    The woman wants a new kitchen ha she about gave her husband a heart attack, only 8yr old and looks mint:eek:
