I’ve got a little evolution one
It not the best chop saw in the world but it was very cheap and works pretty well
The Multi purpose blade it comes with is quite good as it will cut wood and Metal so good for cutting stair nosings and trims

Had a look at screwfix they have a dewalt at £199
Was steering towards that but realised its for wood only , be handy to be able to cut nosings and stair rods ( when my is arm twisted enough hate runners lol)
Several evolutions £100 upwards and a table for them at £60, just dont know if there too cheapy

I did one laminate job with a evolution chop saw and the blade was blunt. If you cut nosings with it you will need a new blade for skirting afterwards

Sad to say I’m a Makita and Festool fanboy, I just can’t bring myself to buy anything else.

Surprising how hard laminate is merit , with the dewalt it says it only for wood presumably just because of the blade supplied

Laminate will blunt a wood blade like you say. One job and it’s done!
