No I cut it into strips of about 4inches, that's probably where I went wrong

This fella was showing people at Harrogate a few years ago.

You can do it on Level 3 carpet course at Floorskills now. Well worth the money as you can get it back after a few jobs.

I think on most carpets it looks pretty crap, looks pretty good on the really thick stripes mind

Nice try , always nice to try different things ! Defo narrower strips I’m sure that guy at Harrogate cut his down to 2-3 rows ?

 

Sell em stair rods ,(on thinner stripes)
Hides the tread riser run out
Fair play for having a go though.
