We buff most of them. Unless it’s a small area. Gets rid of all the little nibs and can see if it needs feather anywhere

    always buff
    reasoning is im anal lol
Also, will get it just perfect, no imperfections, regardless of how good we are there will always be 'something'
another one is, my thinking is treat it the same as CS, so kinda like latience on surface
coz you sticking to dusty crap
ive tried it dif ways over the years, prefer the contact a tile/glue has to a buffed floor
ever noticed how itll pull off clean if you don't buff?
prob talking shite, but its the way I think and do it, don't have any problems so it works for me pmsl

I have no idea what machine I’ve got. Mr Mjfl sold it to me and it looks like he found it in a skip but it’s a absolute work horse compared to the other ones I’ve had that have all died on me lol

Anyone else prime before glue ?
What ratio do you use for priming before glue daz ? Do you think it helps with the overall bonding of the lvt to the screed ?

I also prime before gluing, found in my opinion the adhesive works better. Added onto a job just after Christmas we’re the customer had and extension put on. We primed the screed before laying lvt and when we took out the old boarder line the planks came out perfectly without damaging any of the screed but could see full adhesive bonded to the back of the lvt! Result no need to scrape old adhesive off the screed.

You only need to prime screed if you've either buffed it or you using really crap screed
You shouldn't really need to buff screed either it creates dust mess and over buffing can polish the screed and prevent adhesive soaking into the surface
If you're buffing screed your wasting your time
