Has anyone noticed a change in what they are selling or fitting this year? I have noticed a slight decline in LVT and an increase in laminate and engineered timber. It could just be me!!
Yes I am still mostly LVT, but have noticed this slight change. One theory I have, when I price an LVT job especially one with Anhydrite screed, sometimes the cost of floor preparation work kills the job, therefore people look for the more cost effective option.
I completely agree Maybe shift them onto click Lvt where the prep is minimal instead? Esp with CS substrates which are becoming more popular nowadays
I'm just a shop lad. I've very much noticed a lot more people coming in for engineered wood at the mo. But LVT still seems to reign supreme in the hard floor department. Seem to be selling a load more carpet rems too.
