Fixing plywood, I seem to be getting a lot off ply work lately and a few biggish jobs coming and ring shank nailing by hand takes to long. Is there a nail gun out there that doesn’t cost the earth or any you guys can recommend ?

Yeah we usually use the coil nailer. Ringshanks. What’s the reason you don’t use staples as I’ve known a few people to use them? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Staples can work loose and cause squeaking. If there’s any movement in the subfloor or changes in humidity they can pull through the ply due to the small surface area of the head. Not to say they fail every time but not worth the risk imo when there’s a far superior option
Just as I thought . Thanks mate I love the advice. Good to see you guys back on here. I used to be on here years ago when I first started! It all went quite but Darren said you guys are back on here Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
@Spacey Thanks for the advice spacey, think I’ll see if I can find a coil nailer gun that will work with my compressor! Suppose we’re all on here to learn new things. Thanks
I'm perfectly happy with my stapler, 22mm divergents and as far as I'm aware not an issue, but to be fair I'm new build only so always fixing into chipboard, going into floorboards would be another story
