I’m not a massive fan of hygrometers. My most recent issue is how can you leave a box on site and guarantee it hasn’t been tampered with over the last 3 days? Personally I think you can’t guarantee it

Boxes are not the best, any window or additional temp change will give false info. Also you can always rely on somebody knocking it.

Based on info from the guy who laid the UFH

It’s quite a moment when water doesn’t start pissing out every where lol

Yes thermal imager. Can be brought for about £300 quid for a half decent one.

Do you test moisture in subfloors? yes? so how do you test moisture in floors with UFH? because a box wont work. You need a probe. So clear some room in van mate

test CS with hygrometer also mate. You will be told you can only do Carbide test. Load of bollox, everyone is told that to cover up the false claims on drying times.

Will give you false readings. You need to test UFH heating with it running at minimum temp. Everyone thinks you should turn it off, but you should not do this. RH will always be higher when running. If you test with a box when on, it will condensate and cause false readings. Will also damage the meter and normally send the box out by around 10%.

So if a box is showing 70% and floor is off, what do you think it actually is
