Self adhesive lvt underlay

    hi all, could anybody shed some light on the above? Haven’t used it myself but doesn’t fill me with confidence.

    Thanks, but any particular reasons? Just looking for a valid argument why it’s not suitable.

    The adhesive isn’t strong enough and it can buckle and warp when the LVT expands or contracts with temperature changes

    I’ve seen a few nasty pics of failures with it in the past

    Yep, sounds dodgy. I would imagine it’s great in the science lab. Real world it’s gonna let you down

    There’s a few different ones out there. Used them a few times without problems. Using one this weekend on 40m2 Lvt in kitchen/sunroom, but not a Moduleo one.

    As above, it’s another option, usually a faster option and a much cheaper option for the installer.

    Thanks for responses, am I right in thinking that the lvt can be fitted net with no room for expansion with this product? Or Does it become a floating floor installation?
