Anyone noticed yet that not a single Headlam business is exhibiting at this years show? They have always been the largest single exhibitors for years now and I wonder how the show will fair without them? I imagine that there are lots of unsold stands and that it will mean empty spaces around the show. Does that make a difference to whether you'll go or not?
They pulled out months ago, oddly was having the same discussion today with the organisers and they said that the stands are booked with many new exhibitors which they believe will make the show better than usual, I tend to agree I think it’s a good thing that headlam have had a year off
That's a lot of new exhibitors to find. Makes you wonder, if they did, how they managed it, and why if they were able to do so hadn't they got them in before and made the show an even bigger event. We'll see how it goes this year. As for whether they come back with a bang next year, without knowing why they pulled out I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for their return. Headlam are not the sort of business to make a rash decision, and I'm sure before deciding to pull out they will have looked at all the financial considerations associated with attending and at the potential implications on sales of not doing so.
All good CEO's are money oriented. This one is the former Group CFO so has a financial background. As I said they will have run the numbers before making their decision which is why I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for their return.
They’re focusing on a another show so pulled the plug on Harrogate. Don’t blame them, most who go already have a few accounts with different branches. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
