    So had some hassle today.
Most design strips are 2mm, 2.5mm or 3mm.
Perfect if the tile is that height.
The problem is the bevel. Amtico signature bevel is 2mm so works great but most tiles now are micro bevel.

That means a 2mm strips sits to low.

It showed today on a Moduleo job for me. The strips sat low and you could see the while line of the tile. The tile was a slate effect. Also you can feel the edges with your nails. Will be a dirt trap as well. From the hall the floor looks great but from the back doors you could see while edges. [IMG][IMG]

Project floors design strips are 2.2mm deep which solves this problem. Thinking of stocking them strips to use with Spacia , Neobo , artist collection , Moduleo.

Any one else had this issue?

Only had issues with karndean opus's own grout strips, they are a serious dirt trap but stopped using their AF strips.

I would have said the 2mm strips sit higher if you put them against a 2mm tile with micro bevel...

That’s correct. Project floors do a 1.8mm design strip as well
