Repair Engineered Oak

    Hello,
    I have an engineered oak floor that has been marked following decoration with paint spills. I have tried to rub clean but the boards are left with a white haze to them.
    Its a brushed and oiled floor - is re-oiling the way to go? I have no idea what oil was used on them.
    I will try to post some pictures below

    Following this thread as I'm just laying some brushed & oiled stuff myself and am bound to spill something on them...
    I was told the lacquer versions are easier to maintain I assume because they're already smooth so just need a light sand (& re-lacquer?).
    The oiled ones are more textured though and with only 3mm to play with I imagine it's harder to get the paint out before re-oiling.

    I ended up applying some teak oil to the boards with a cloth - I was quite pleased with the end result. Hope this helps.
