I've got a shed load of carpet to do for a customer of mine in their new house in a few weeks and they've gone from a runner to now wanting each step cap and band. Not done a full staircase in cap and band for ages now and remember how time consuming it was o_O there is a total of 17 winders between the 2 so plenty of fun...can't wait

Any tips to speed things up...any new techniques :)....and no I'm not going to book floorskills!

Will be fitting westex in ivory. Need to check again the bullnoses on the attic staircase to make sure they have enough overhang but the main staircase is spot on and 1.08 wide.

Last one I did I did them all separate on the straight stairs still.

I do them in one and use a stair claw, can’t imagine doing it without one to be honest.
