Just had karndean lvt fitted by well known local company theyve been back twice for little bits around edges that arent sticking properly I can press them down and they seem fine but next morning they're loose again. The fitter reckons this is due to the cold but that doesnt help any Sadly I've already paid him Any advice appreciated
Hi seems very odd, hard to give you a reason without some background.. any chance of some pics? And any info on the prep before the fitting? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Having trouble uploading pics but they dont show much as the planks are lying flat but you can press them down, there is half a dozen spots about 2 inches long on different planks where i can push down all on joints or where they finish at wall, stairs etc
They screeded the concrete floor I dont know what with he said it was an acrylic, i didnt have radiator installed in the hall where the trouble is at the time so it was pretty cold but the other rroom is fine so could it be down to that and if so can it be fixed
Could be a few things really, adhesive died before laying into it therefore it's lost it's grab (depending what adhesive they used) Some planks may be cut in to tight I'd say it's adhesive looking at them pictures and that's a nice over score on that frame tile hate to see that.
3 times he's been to re glue, yesterday morning was last visit, when i got home at tea time a couple of places were ok but it had sprung either further along the joint or the next joint along, Im ready to pull the whole lot up now unless i can find a competent fitter who wont charge the earth to rectify it
