Since 2011. I 'semi-retired' from flooring after doing it for 30 years, mostly self-employed, done the odd gov job for friends but thats it really. However, been back doing it 'employed' for a local company and have seen a decline on prices, and the standard of work they expect. Its mostly what i called 'revites' ... kitchens and bathrooms in social housing. Laying over existing vinyl etc as its'quicker & cheaper' Ive not done it yet and won't, I always uplift & screed
Bit of an update, I left said company about 5 weeks ago, doing a bit here and there. Anyone do work for a company called 'Elixira LTD' who are based in Manchester area?
Hi Glenn, yeah going ok, ticking over just how i like it tbh, on with a wood floor job which I've had to dpm, and a nice karndean job coming up. Based in Durham.
