Time for an old dog to learn some new tricks :)

Been fitting Karndean for years but been out of the game for awhile ( had another thread about it)

One of my customers who I've done numerous Karndean jobs for has bought a new build, which I'm going to see on friday.
However, he's bought the Karndean Loose lay planks (which I've said I've never fitted lol) so just looking for a bit of advice. My usual is to do all my prep, prime, screed etc, then lay the Karndean. I've read a bit of stuff on here so:

If subfloor is 'good' would you screed for this stuff? (I'm planning to)
Glue down with Tackier or adhesive? And if so which one?

    Appreciate any advice, cheers :)

100% tackify it, not done one in a while but always tackify.
I did the perimeter and a foot thick line every meter or so, not had any callbacks after a year or so...

    ......yet!

Cheers chaps, I haven't even seen them as such, only on t'internet and are just like a tile, I was expecting them to overlap each other somehow, I'm surprised they do actually stay down loose laid. I'm expecting they stay down due to thier weight? The vid on YT looks comical lol

I'll order some Karndean tackifier :)

They're not that weighty really, hate the stuff though and don't include it in my samples anymore. There's some nice tile designs though

No it won't Dffernt tackifiers have been tested with it and the stuff in the karndean tubs works the best
If anyone's seen karndean tacki I'm sure you can guess the manufacturer ;)

    Well, I fitted it friday/saturday.
Fuck are they a heavy tile lol

Went down ok tho tbh, the backing is a pain though whilst cutting the architrives etc tho. Customer over the moon with it :)
