    Hi chaps,

Started working for a shop that use a lot of Jumpax on problem floors for Amtico/Karndean etc. I’ve never used it myself personally I’d always prefer to fully bond with screed/ply, but if this shop wants me to use it I’ll give it ago. I do understand it does have its uses (I’ve read all previous threads on it) but just want to clarify a few things before I start putting my name to these jobs.

    1. Can it be used under damp concrete/under floor heating?

    2. Is it true you need to leave expansion gaps?

    3. Should I stick to what I know and do the prep my way, or use it and let the shop take the risk?

    Cheers, Mart

Leaving gaps just puts me off totally, unless skirtings we’re off I don’t think I’ll bother

What about ‘Heat Pak’? That is supposed to be compatible with underfloor heating systems?
