hi everyone, what techniques do you find best to bring parquet back together around a kitchen island? Just wondering if there’s any better ways or techniques people are using. Thanks
I normally dry lay it round the island or if it’s a easy one just put it all on HT so o can be adjusted as it’s fitted Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I generally do the same by dry fitting round both sides, not right up to the point where you turn but about half way then jig it around abit if needed...which usually does (for me anyway) I then tape the planks and take sections out and glue/fit parts until the last dry fitted row is done then carry on as normal to the units. The bigger the island the more of a pain it can be I've found.
Yeh I dry lay at the best of times, on one at the minute and spent an hour messing around with it would not go together so hence the question. Bit of patience and I’ll get there haha. Thanks for the response
Mate I've done same before lol I spent an hr messing around and was felt like smashing the island to pieces. Alot of patience required defo
