I am stumped when it comes to laminate flooring and have gone to Tapi and carpet right to name a few. The floors come in different thicknesses 8mm 12mm and 14mm. The floors I like are a ructic oak with texture and the v grouve, really want it as realistic as can be. tapi have kona and tried looking onn line for more info and carpet righjt have tegola. Ireally need heavy duty and is a 30 year warranty worth anything ???? I am looking at quotes of 2k incl fitting its about 38m2 going on floor boards. Please help,
Go to a decent independent retailer, look up Quick Step and Parador. Thickness of the floor is less important than the quality of the wear product above the photograph of the wood (that you see) and the quality of the joint system. Good quality laminate with Lifetime wear guarantee is going to retail around £30m2
Not sure about the warranty side of things more of a sales pitch but you won’t go wrong with a quickstep floor installed by a good fitter Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks.advice appreciated. I like the quick step perspective wide chestnut natural and prices vary so much .were do you suggest for buying and how do l find a quality fitter, there are so many that say they can but few that do a nice job.l live in worthing.,
Quickstep have registered installers. Check their website and then look at review or check if they are part of Nicf or Bwfa. Also Floorskills trained fitters will be decent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
