Ive got to price up a conductive floor, for a lab.
Never done one before, has anyone on here ?
I had a quick look, and it seems a copper strip has to be fitted, and earthed ?
It also says the 600 ish tiles all need welding ? and it shows as coved to 100mm. Seems a bit odd

Forbo have some good info on their website about it. Looked at one years ago but as soon as I see copper wire and earthing I didn’t bother with it.

I did look at there site, and there is the copper strip , conductive adi etc.
Just wondered if anyone had actually fitted it.
I was talking to a friend I work with today, and he said we did one together years ago.......

I done one with a couple lads at a Uni for a firm I used to sub to yrs ago, all I can remember was we had to spray adhesive all the carpet tiles that had a weird feel to the backing and they came from forgo.

.....and someone chopped through the copper strip :D

Never done it with tile but have with sheet. As long as you use the anti static addy and copper strip it should be fine as all the tiles will be touching. Otherwise that's alot of welding
