Hi, I have glue down Moduleo LVT to be laid in kitchen and bathroom in a flat that requires acoustic underlay. Duralay has 5 more acoustic rating than Flex Pro, but FlexPro is the same make of LVT which I presume work better together? Anyone has experience on either of them? Does extra 5db make any differnce?
Thank, Is regupol spongy being 5mm which more than double of most underlay? I can't see any specification that it accepts glue down LVT?
with 4515, dB ratings are 17/18db I think and adhesion absorbsion isn’t great which means you tend to use more than what’s stated, flex pro and the Chinese Duralay version is 15db, Softlay fleece goes to 19db, our option similar to flex pro is 17db. You increase dB ratings by bonding the system rather than using a floated option
