So did you have a similar problem then? The worst cracks I have are approx 1mm. I might have a look at that webbing or go for a different floor finish (that I can take up again) if it fails completely.
Debonded system above is your safest option moving forward, weather that’s a floating floor or some like uni boards from Murexin to de stress what’s below it.
Yeah builder done a bad job with filling about 60m2 of the tray system ufh, he took responsibility for any future failure, go for a clic lvt it's a diy product
Sorry, did you Prime it and go over it with F.Ball 700? Was yours just cracks or had it delaminated / failed? Perhaps I’ll go with the a click system then. At least if it does completely fail then i can re-lay the flooring again after.
Cracked in places, builder over watered the screed and went too deep but I think the tray system helped hold it in place, ideal world you take it up but that not always possible, was a subbie job and just made sure it wouldn't come back on me personally
I guess it’s good you have the insurance policy in place that he has accepted liability if it goes wrong. Unfortunately mine was a DIY job. Thought I’d researched it all well and done it exactly as I should but it’s proving a costly error. Ideally I’d like to take mine up but it will be an absolute pig to get it up as 90% of it seems well stuck down so I’ll end up destroying the original slab doing it and most likely the liquid DPM I’ve put down throughout the downstairs as well. I’m gutted about it. It wouldn’t be so bad if it had completely failed so it would easily come back up. Just seems to be a patch in the middle.
