Does anybody know if there is any reason I cannot install underfloor heating on top of an existing laminate floor to save having to rip it up first? Obviously I would lay mats under the heating foil first. Then a new engineered wood floor on top. Apart from raising the height of the floor and needing to make adjustments to the kick panels under kitchen cupboards and any doors is there anything against doing this? Has anybody done it?
    Thanks all.
