Hello all (again). The Amtico Form fitting day has finally arrived, only to find that they don't appear to be very square. Is this unusually poor? The fitter didn't even want to fit them so they have been returned. I am hoping that another batch would be significantly better.
I've had lvt from all manufacturers that have been rubbish, I just send them.back if they are to bad but ues I'd say that is very poor especially for a big brand. I'd be the same as your fitter, i would have refused to use them in that state, he would have been fighting a losing battle. ....not even spacey's screwdriver could sort that out
That is just crap. Is it from the internet ? Gotta be faulty stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It is from Carpet Barn (http://www.carpetsandbeds.com/amtico-vinyl-flooring) who are an authorised Amtico Reseller. I went in-store, ordered and paid for installation too.
At those prices I wouldn’t be surprised if it was seconds or faulty Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
https://www.amtico.com/flooring/retailers/ I deliberately went to somewhere that Amtico suggest when you enter my local postcode as they say "Amtico supports the sale of its residential products to customers through a dedicated network of independent retailers, who provide reliable and expert service. We are unable to offer warranties on Amtico products when purchased outside of our network of recognised retailers."
I can see prices per box of Amtico on their website. Also I know loads of builders, interior designers and commercial fit out companies that can buy and sell Amtico and all other LvTs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
As long as the carpet barn will return the products and give you new ones that’s all that matters. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Depends how big the job is If it's an hour on the guillotine its alot quicker than waiting for new product
I've been saying this about amtico now for the past year and eventually they came back and said it was the calendar cutter , but now it's fixed , I've had loads like this , not nice when your doing herringbone though , I sent 100 Mtrs back last month that changed it but it was still bad just make do till all old stock has gone it's been fine for a few months now
Anyone know what pattern in the Form range this is from? If you look at the plank to the right, and cast your eye to the left of this guys index finger, there are some vertical lines / embossed lines that appear to go against the normal print. Is this a misprint / defect in the printing of the Form range?
