Thats what stairs and landings are made for. I try and stick to the same ones but always end up with the random rolls.

Conn 8 & 10 are my main ones.
Been using interface when my supplier is waiting on stock.

    For budgets/rentals I use cosi 8 & 10

Cloud 9 cirrus. Everytime I use a different one we get a issue. Put verve in a lounge a few weeks ago and customer said it didn’t feel as spongey underfoot as previous carpets.

Cloud 9 cirrus, cosi 8 for cheaper option. Used a range of the budget ones over the years but theyre all crap and cause problems. Mainly fall apart under the carpet and lack of structure of them winds me when trying to cut it in

Using the powerwalk at the moment, not the nicest stuff to fit, but same density as cloud 9 for about 40% less cost

I've never had a problem with 11mm underlay on gripper, it holds ok and on the majority of carpets the height difference is barely visible, although with better quality carpet i tend to use Geordie gripper

It does take a little more effort to cut, but as long as your shears are fairly sharp it's nothing that causes a problem, the only downside to it,is that it works out about 4 times the price of standard gripper

Just looked online, it is expensive. Anyone ever used the floorwise diamond gripper?

When you start looking at the budget underlay, the quality varies massively, you'll order a couple of rolls to try, but some of it is so bad, you daren't try and sell it to a customer
