Can you use 7mm laminate flooring with 8mm floor?

    Ive got 2packs of flooring left over from a job i done in my house but wickes has discontinued it.
    There are some 8mm flooring which is the the same as my 7mm ones will this cause a Problem when laying it down?

    I can’t imagine it will lock together properly. It will be a different size board and possibly a completely different locking system

    If they do connect there will be stress on the joint and I can only imagine that it will break or at best creak under foot.

    Throw them away, which is what most of us would have done if it was a full pallet load;)

    It is very unlikely that they will lock together, if they did it would probably leave a sharp edge on the top surface.
